I am of the view that life is a vast forest into which no person enters of their own will. That forest has a beginning, and it has an end: birth and death. Neither is ours to choose. Yet deep within it lie countless paths, and throughout the course of life, at every step, a person determines through their own choices which direction they will follow. Where we pause, which way we turn, what we continue to endure in spite of everything, and what kind of trace we leave behind, all of these belong to us. Of course, not everything lies within human hands; some encounters, some losses, some delays, and some trials are the portion of fate. And yet the truest part of a person is revealed not by what happens to them, but by the way they continue on, preserving their character in spite of it.
For me, the essence of life begins precisely here: in striving to do what is right, no matter the circumstances; in giving every undertaking its due; in remaining faithful to one's word; and in collecting good people along the way. Time takes many things from a person: titles, money, power. But character is not easily erased. A promise kept is not easily forgotten. And the trace left in people's hearts often continues to live on, even in one's absence. I have always believed that collecting good people is more precious than accumulating wealth.
My journey began in Türkiye. From an early age, my interest in technology drew me toward creating, building systems, and reflecting on how things might be done better. In time, that path carried me through different industries, different disciplines, and different countries. From factory environments to research and development, from logistics to software, the years that unfolded between Türkiye, Australia, and South Korea gave me more than professional experience alone. They also revealed to me people, culture, discipline, patience, and what distance itself can teach a human being. In the end, all of that accumulation became the point to which I arrived by building my own path through my own labour. Even now, I continue to create with the same passion and to bring what I think into life.
I am a detail-oriented person. If I put my hand to a piece of work, I do it in the way it deserves; otherwise, I would rather not begin at all. I cannot see a part of myself in work that is rushed, left unfinished, or shaped by the acceptance of mediocrity as something ordinary. Because, to me, what a person puts forward is a quiet reflection of their character. In the same way, respect, seriousness, and keeping one's word are not matters open to debate for me. A person's true stance is understood, more often than not, not from what they say, but from what they remain faithful to.
For this reason, I do not see life merely as a race measured by success. What matters most to me is how this journey is lived, and how much of their true self a person is able to preserve along the way. For what truly defines a person is not the place at which they arrive, but the character they carry while arriving there. And I believe that, in this journey, what truly matters is not which paths we passed through in order to arrive there, but what kind of person we arrived there as.
Hayatın, insanın kendi iradesiyle dahil olmadığı engin bir orman olduğu kanaatindeyim. O ormanın bir başlangıcı, bir de nihayeti vardır: doğum ve ölüm. Bunların hiçbiri bizim tercihimiz değildir. Ne var ki, o ormanın derinliklerinde sayısız patika uzanır ve insan, ömrü boyunca hangi istikamette yürüyeceğini her adımında kendi tercihleriyle belirler. Nerede duracağımız, hangi yöne sapacağımız, neye rağmen yürümeye devam edeceğimiz ve ardımızda nasıl bir iz bırakacağımız bize aittir. Elbette her şey insanın elinde değildir; bazı karşılaşmalar, bazı kayıplar, bazı gecikmeler ve bazı imtihanlar kaderin payıdır. Ama yine de insanın hakiki tarafı, başına gelenlerle değil, onlara rağmen karakterini koruyarak nasıl yol aldığıyla ortaya çıkar.
Benim için hayatın özü tam da burada başlar: Şartlar ne olursa olsun doğru olanı yapmaya çalışmak, üstlenilen her işe hakkını vermek, söze sadık kalmak ve yol boyunca iyi insanları biriktirmek. Çünkü zaman, insandan birçok şeyi alıp götürür; unvanları, parayı, gücü... Ama karakter kolay silinmez. Tutulan söz kolay unutulmaz. İnsanların kalbinde bırakılan iz ise çoğu zaman yokluğundan sonra bile yaşamaya devam eder. Ben her zaman iyi insanları biriktirmenin, servet biriktirmekten daha kıymetli olduğuna inandım.
Yolculuğum Türkiye'de başladı. Küçük yaşlardan itibaren teknolojiye duyduğum ilgi beni üretmeye, sistem kurmaya ve bir şeylerin nasıl daha iyi yapılabileceğini düşünmeye yöneltti. Zamanla bu yol beni farklı sektörlerden, farklı disiplinlerden ve farklı ülkelerden geçirdi. Fabrika ortamlarından araştırma-geliştirmeye, lojistikten yazılıma; Türkiye, Avustralya ve Güney Kore arasında geçen yıllar bana yalnızca mesleki tecrübe kazandırmadı. Aynı zamanda insanı, kültürü, disiplini, sabrı ve mesafenin insana neler öğretebileceğini de gösterdi. Bütün bu birikim, sonunda kendi yolumu kendi emeğimle kurduğum noktaya dönüştü. Bugün de aynı tutkuyla üretmeye, düşündüklerimi hayata geçirmeye devam ediyorum.
Ben detaycı bir insanım. Bir işe dokunuyorsam, onu lâyık olduğu şekilde yaparım; aksi hâlde hiç başlamamayı tercih ederim. Aceleye getirilmiş, yarım bırakılmış ya da vasatlığın olağan kabul edildiği işlerde kendimden bir parça göremem. Çünkü bana göre insanın ortaya koyduğu şey, onun karakterinin sessiz bir yansımasıdır. Aynı şekilde saygı, ciddiyet ve sözünde durmak da benim için tartışmaya açık konular değildir. Bir insanın gerçek duruşu, çoğu zaman ne söylediğinde değil, neye sadık kaldığında anlaşılır.
Hayata bu yüzden yalnızca başarıyla ölçülen bir yarış olarak bakmıyorum. Benim için asıl önemli olan, bu yolculuğun nasıl yaşandığı ve insanın yol boyunca kendi özünü ne kadar koruyabildiğidir. Çünkü insanı gerçekten tanımlayan şey, vardığı yer değil, oraya varırken nasıl bir karakter taşıdığıdır. Ve inanıyorum ki bu yolculukta asıl mesele, sonunda oraya hangi patikalardan geçerek vardığımız değil, nasıl bir insan olarak vardığımızdır.
